what I can glean from the anns over the last couple of months, the levels of benzine in the water are minimal - there are many more present in the air we breathe than in the water as a result of CXY's activities.
So then, why is the gov digging it's heels in over this issue - well, coming after the controversial 'sewerage to drinking water' argument a couple of years ago, and given there's an election coming in which QLD seats are crucial to Fed Labor holding power, this is very much political.
What'll probably happen is Gillard will win (Abbot's got no hope) and post election, the QLD gov will quietly lift the suspension of activities and it'll be business as usual.
I'm not a holder at the moment thank god, but I have been and intend to be again, assuming my scenario comes into play. Bit if I WAS a holder, I wouldn't be panicked into a bad sell should the suspension be lifted. This company has a lot going for it, and at 6.1 cents it is at the moment, it's a steal.
cheers all
