garrye, not sure that "same problems that existed 12 months ago have yet to be resolved". We know the process plant is operating well. We know that extraction of ore from the mine body is now occurring (though far short of optimal). We know the water issue is in better shape than before (but new MD pointed out need for mechanisms to reduce the water table). We know that production output has increased, albeit far from goal. We know the electrical generation is somewhat stable and the higher kw wiring might be occurring soon.
Incidentally, most posters here are isolating RED's sp from the gold sector overall. Yet many (most?) OZ and likely foreign gold miners have depressed share prices due to current sentiment about gold and its associates. Frustrating just the same, but even if RED was performing according to plan, we might still be complaining that its sp has fallen since October.
The next quarterly is end of April, but maybe the MD will wisely announce something good before then, such as new contractor is now operating with all equipment working.
