NZ's ultrafast broadband is way faster than NBN because it is fibre to the home. It's about the same pricewise too. Adoption is higher than anticipated too. I can read their reports but I don't understand them or how it's being financed except that government is advancing the money. Spark would like to get people off it and onto wireless but even if that's cost-effective which is doubtful there will always be the need for backhaul services -fibre.
