The plant design will have a lot to do with the end product.
The iron can be reduced to below the 0.07% premium cut-off through efficient cleaning during the dry seperation, the aluminia via an effective spiral shaking table. But its capital intensive and time consuming.
Sometimes better to just flog it as lower grade and leave the problems of high grade to the big boys.
