My partner is an IT consultant to the housing industry here in Vic. The house building companies are receiving healthy strong forward orders for new start homes each month and all reporting hectic times ahead. With the extra load of house building replacement that will come as a result of the recent bush fires, my interpretation is that it will be a busy time for suppliers too. Won't be immediate but I expect most building suppliers will notice healthy stock orders by the end of the year.
