Lake eyre covers one sixth of australia,build a pipline from northern territory and fill it,build a city,not any city, but a city that the world would want to come and see,the greatest tourist attraction in the world for water sports and wildlife,it would be one of the biggest fresh water lakes in the world,maybe it would cost 800 billion to build but would employ probably a hundred thousand people for ten years just to build it,then it would have its own eco structure to go on,it would also solve our water problems and cut employment to only 1 %,it would create new rail structure,road transport systems,million of trees to be planted around the lake generating more wildlife,water for better vegetable crops and cattle sheep industry,the mind boggles it could be so huge,so if we stopped investing in stupid overseas jaunts,wasting money on rubbish,the money will be there,and you cant tell me the like of packers and so on would not want to invest in a multibillion state of the art city on a lake that would be prestine to the world.our politicians need to look ten years ahead ,not 6months and improve our wealth diverse nation before all the country becomes a barren desert of poverty
