Hello Billybongo,
I havnt provided commentary on the blair house issue but merely agreeing that the "little johnny" part of the heading not appropriate. Mods have asked that the offensive heading is ceased and I agree with them. I have no interest in the Blair house subject.
Now on stimulus packages, there seems to be an overwhelming view by Governments that stimulus packages and bailouts are necessary. Todays Fin Review in a story by Robert Guy refers to Janet Yelland, Federal Reserve Bank President of San Fransisco as stating "If ever, in my professional career, there was a time for active, discretionary fiscal stimulus, it is now."
Of course there will be detractors and differences as to the types of packages but overwhelmingly such packages are being adopted by both conservative and non conservative governments around the world.
cheers
