Your explanatory post has simply reinforced the view that you disagree with the $1000 payment to pensioners, carers and families. You have also chosen to ignore the fact that I believe there will be increases to the ongoing pension following the overall review.The Liberals were promoting a $35 increase to the pension well I can assure you that pensioners would likely prefer their $1000 up front plus a $35 increase to come. The fact is you consider the lump sum payment to pensioners as an innappropriate handout unless you have changed your mind.
