In case you are unaware, the Labor government does have some funds earmarked for investments in infrastructure assets. I believe there is a committee which is at the present time appraising the various proposals that have been submitted by various interested parties, including the state governments.

What I do hope will happen is that those eventually approved for federal government funding will be for the long term lasting benefits of the nations.
