Libs or Labs, it's always been our money. Libs didn't spend enough of it where they should have and were voted out. If the Labs don't spend it the right way, they can expect to be voted out too.
The question of immediate concern is whether the Labs are spending it the right ways and in the right amounts. Deficit spending is supposed to lessen the impact of the coming recession so increasing spending right now is at least setting that lever in the right direction. Consensus seems to be that the $KevK was right too. The infrastructure spend has hardly started so too early to say with this one. Personally I'm not happy spending so much of it on facilities for sending even more of our coal overseas. It probably makes economic sense but it isn't environmentally smart.
