Next day : The $1k which appeared on my Cr C ard a/c disappeared. The $6 K marked sent via Telstra was actually tfrd from one of my other a/cs. Noticed in time, gladly. If he phones at 3 pm today, he will get an ear full !!! He had hacked my bank a/cs , but luckily all I lost was the $1 k. Learned my lesson. He was very convincing, taking me at one stage to Telstra site for confirmation of some sort. ??
Lesson learned : If foreign sounding assole phones and says your computer is being hacked (in this case from China) : hang up....
