Contact your bank ASAP to have your internet banking password changed. They would have remotely connected to one of your computers as part of the process. Do not use that computer until you have had it scanned for malware by a professional.
The most very basic of rules, if someone calls you asking to remotely connect your computer. Don't do it.
If someone tells you some story that basically ends with you sending money somewhere. Don't do it.
Nobody will ever legitimately cold call you to do this, especially not law enforcement agencies. Unfortunately greed gets the better of some people no matter how ridiculous the story is.
File a report of your incident with ACORN. (www.acorn.gov.au)
