If African Iron does take off, CFE should sue for penalites from MCC as a part of the ongoing court case for the lost value of developing the mine to a JORC.
Had CFE got the 80 million from MCC they could have developed the mine up to a JORC resource and realised much more for it.
I think this was part of MCC's plan to frustrate Australian mining companies from getting in early in Africa.
