My reaction when reading STK's announcement of the Serbian project was like this:
'5.4m oz gold equivalent' - - - wow!
'$A37m' - - - geez, that's cheap.
'Paid for in STK shares' - - - sensational, we keep all our $50m cash/liquid assets.
'In Serbia' - - - phew, it's eastern europe, not western europe.
Adriatic (ADT) went from first drill hole to first concentrate production in just 7 years, an outstanding achievement. That suggests to me the operating environment (regulations, infrastructure, workforce, community support etc) in this part of the world is pretty decent by world standards.
Overall, I'm glad we've now got two major projects. I just hope we don't burn through the cash too quickly - that's my main concern.
Patience required with the share price. Chart remains superb.
