The number of stocks declining is relentless. It is now 24 of the past 26 trading days in which the number of declining stocks exceeds the number of rising stocks.

Curiously, the number of declining stocks on Wednesday was only a tiny bit worse than on Tuesday, although the index performance was much worse on Wednesday.
