Even IF there's something afoot, that's a big call. The O&G industry is a big one with lots of moving parts. It only takes one lowly engineer / procurement officer / contracts manager to mention to a mate that he's working on "X", and that mate to have a connection to someone who is in a position to take advantage of that information. Taking advantage of privileged information is a no-no of course, but that's almost impossible for the industry to enforce and even harder for the ASX to police. Secrets are hard to keep in this business, but that doesn't mean anyone in CVN is leaking information to insiders.
