I am disappointed (and somewhat alarmed) with two statements in this release.
(1) "Santos said recently it is working towards a final investment decision in the second half of 2024"
We had previously been led to believe that it was 2024 ..... but now it has gone further out to 2nd half!
(2) "Santos is not intending to sanction Dorado until its Barossa issues are tidied up. Chief Executive Kevin Gallagher said he'd need to see that we are well progressed with Barossa before we want to take on another offshore project through FID in Australia"
This is not very encouraging at all!
