While having a lot of affection for the Sth. Pacific nations ( living / working on and off for 20 yrs in that region.) They are astute at identifying opportunities. and Climate Change plus China have given them extra leverage.
Of course it is hypothetical as some of their individual politicians have difficulty with their moral compass and courting the worlds biggest polluter in China.
As stated , all this may come to nothing so we just watch for signals from our new Federal Government which could have investment consequences. Already we have seen corporate and international reaction to the QLD. Gov. shameless and poorly thought out cash grab on the Coal Industry.
