ROC fell because it was finally outed for over a decade of serial project wealth destruction, despite holding oil assets from the $10/bbl days.
Nearly everything ROC touched disappointed. Perhaps the best was Cliffhead, which was only a success because the poo rose faster than the capex overruns. Meanwhile it "spent" fast sums within dodgy African regimes and clocking up airmiles.
How much similiarity with ROC does STO really have? It might or might not be a argued as inferior to WPL, but let's at least stick to the right peer group and/or a similiar case history.
