In STO's most recent presentation to US investors they do state that they are putting a renewed focus on the Cooper Basin .
I'm not sure of the status but hey have declared that they are exiting ther US investments in favour of Australasia, including acquisitions in that broad region .
They attempted to takeover QGC late last year .
They have announced a massive LNG terminal at Gladstone .

STO will acquire more acreage, via tender and takeover.
It may or may not nclude INP, MPO, NXS, AZA, or numerous others.
We do know they are experts at oil and gas production at the Cooper Basin, including the same Geology as Flax/Juniper .
They were the losing bidder for the INP increased stake at the fiel (sold by a North American co wishing to focus on ther US assets) .
INP share ( 50/50 ) a large field in South West Queensland with STO also .
