Well, the surge towards 20c has petered out - last time in this zone was almost 1yr ago - technically 20c is resistance, then 25, 30, 35, 40c .... moon. Woodside (WDS) has confirmed that "merger talks with STO" are occurring, but no outcome at this stage (ASX today). What effect will this have on STO investments like Mahalo (COI) ?? Assuming COI is essential for STO's Gladstone plant is fraught with risk IMHO. Is this giant going to put its Aussie assets on 'care & maintain dividends' and call the Greenies and government bluff by going on an investment strike in Australia - there are plenty of places where CGS is not necessary and tax breaks galore on offer, and no noisy greens to worry about ??
