Mate you are correct. Both STO and ORG have been significantly impacted and more to follow. This means conditions would go bad to worse before get better.
Take a glance of the economic situation-On Friday, China Central Bank devalued yuan a step further and there is no guarantee that it would not happen again.
China appears to be happy the way economy is performing. Current steps are enough to provide long-term stability to Chinese economy over a long period. So, where is the engine of world economic growth...
US economy is doing ok for the short term but I can not see any driving force within the US economy to provide further momentum to the world economy ( see weekly job figures which are steady )
So, in my opinion oil and gas prices would remain subdued in the future...for how long..I do not know
