Daily chart for Santos. Holding near the highs at the top of the latest uptrend. Low volume shallow pullback looks good. I noticed there was some fairly heavy shorting going on friday according to the asx short sell text file (640,000 short out of 3.5 million). This is significant to me because Santos is not a stock usually targeted by shorters. I don't like to bet against them either (considering statistically they are right more often).
Production report out on Friday morning. I've been hearing Santos mentioned a bit too much the last week or so in the media/brokers etc which makes me a bit wary now. I think this $14 area is going to take some work to break given the massive volumes around here in the past.
