IMHO, ORG has grown very fast very quickly and is much more diversified than WPL and STO. This lack of focus and the rate of grown concerns me so I do not hold ORG.
I think that WPL and STO are both excellent companies with good growth prospects. I prefer WPL's valuation right now to STO, although there is some downside risk for WPL with potential capital raisings. Both are possible takeover targets but is BHP the only likely suitor? - likely as would be political issues with foreigners buying up our oil and gas reserves.
I also think OSH is a good buy - political risk in PNG, but that also applies to a lesser extent to STO.
I hold WPL, STO and OSH and these companies are the main component of my portfolio. I purposely hold all three to reduce the single company execution risk, although obviously they are all correlated to energy prices.
Also hold NXS, AWE and TAP and thinking of buying AOE, but looking for a lower entry price. $2 would be nice, buy entropylord says I must be dreaming........
