    Vmoto was the # 1 selling scooter brand in calendar 2003, 2004 and 2005, despite being founded in 2002 and despite their being over 29 scooter brands; They out sell Vespa, Honda and Yamaha in Australia; They have 3 models of scooters, all of which are in the top 10 selling scooter models in the Country; The Milan (50cc) is more often than not, the #1 scooter in the Country across all categories; The Monza is more of than not, the #3 selling 50cc scooter in the Country; The Monaco is the #1 selling 125cc in the Country; Along with Honda and Yamaha, Vmoto are the only motorcycle brand in the Country to have 2 models in the Top 10 selling registered bikes across all categories; They own slightly less than 19% of the market (2005) with just 3 models. Their nearest competitor has close to 30 models; 2 new models are about to be released; The scooter market (around 10,000 units p.a. in 2005) in Australia grew 30% in calendar 2005 and is already up 47% in 2006; Sales have already commenced in USA and New Zealand, with a view to selling into Malaysia Singapore and UAE in the near term and India in the longer term; USA market is currently 113,000 units p.a. and scooters have been the fastest growing 2-wheel segment in the USA for the last 5 years; Malaysia market is 400,000 units p.a.; India market is 1.2 million units p.a.; There is a direct correlation between the price of fuel and the # of scooters sold. Fuel prices are predicted to reach record levels this year with little or no abatement; The primary manufacturer in China, is the largest manufacture of scooters in China, producing over 1.2 million units p.a.; and Forecast turnover next year is a conservative $6m with an EBIT of $1m. This assumes little growth in Oz and very little sales internationally.
