Yeah those capital investments gas companies have made are a crazy idea and don't allow a lower cost of capital for future projects and better cashflow whiel helping fix feds balance of payments and budget . .

Can't wait to see what the "general public" think when lights are out , power is at extreme cost, industry is dead , jobs exported overseas and Australia not seen as a stable and reliable place to do business. It can happen really fast as oila nd gas are 10-20 yera investments . All that exploration ( you know the the wasted money they don't want to give a dediuction for ) that doesn't happen that supports thousands of Australians in their jobs.
