Yes it can be frustrating, very much so , sentiment is a strong driver of stock prices.
Many instos , fund managers , banks and large private investors, politician's are still terrified of the O/G sector.
Terrified !!!
They think if they do indeed invest in the sector they will be thrown out of their over paid jobs if and when a new battery, solar panel , wind turbine , nuclear reactor , or dreamer with a plan in his hand to build a hydrogen plant in Qld turns up in the market place. Sentiment !!!.

Once the Northern Hemisphere have frozen their arses of for an other month or so, the Australians and South East Asians get to the point they are cooking on open fires at night , because they can't afford the high price of Fossils , while much of the Southern Hemisphere is covered in cloud at this time of year which plays havoc with solar panels, once that happens O/G will be back in favour. You better be in, or in a position to get in quick once the tides turn. And they will.
These O/G companies are making money hand over fist, and will be for many years to come.
