Agreed - those against fossil fuels know that this is the easiest and most politically correct way to hold up essential projects. The Tiwi Islanders ( and other Aboriginal groups) are being manipulated by certain factions with their anti fossil fuel agendas.
The sad truth is that it is portraying Aboriginals as greedy, devisive money grabbers by most people.
If only they could stand on their own platform and say projects should go ahead and the royalties and tax can then fund more schools, hospitals, mental health facilities in remote areas.
Millions of $$$ will be spent on court actions that could be better used.
