Its all Ok. Rather than collect the CO2 from the atmosphere or industry for japan top get to net zero they can buy plant trees in Australia, buy carbon credits from aboriginals who choose not to burn as regularly as culture intended or if they do burn they don't account for emissions from the burn but get a credit for the carbon char left afterwards as it stores carbon for a period. Better to do such programs than actually place in a sealed reservoir that previously held gas for thousands of years? Some of the better projects I like are the seeding of oceans with algae and creating credits without yet knowing full cycle and affects - not sure if they are doing it yet but hats off to em for thinking of it.

So STO is industry that may be able to actually be net zero for extraction of gas and able to also via sequestration do for other industries and the government wants to specifically lock it out of all grants and benefits and due to govts procrastination and own incompetence ( and world war events) created massive price increase and rather than have Aussie gas on tap in excess , export facilities ready to go a govt capped price and honestly expected gas companies to expand their capital spend and now wonders why gas companies aren't exploring, are rather linking once stranded all because up till 2 weeks ago the govt was publicly saying they needed no gas in future. Now it is a 2050 plan. How can any company trust in system and do the capital spend with such a moving target of trying to do business?
