The Ruskies can invade who ever they want when ever they want. Not much will change apart from the Ruskies getting some thing they have wanted for years. Ukraine. No one in the West has the power nor do they have the will to stop this slaughter. We in the West are told to stop saying Merry Christmas , Happy Easter , Don't refer to your Mother as Mother, Don't let your daughter think she is a girl or your Son think he is a boy we can do all that, but not much else. We all know what is going to follow in Taiwan. Who will stop this next March by the commies. No one, they will simply march and take what they want and we will continue on our Merry Path to Obscurity.

Does that have much affect on the ASX , no not really. The Western leaders will huff and puff , they will introduce sanctions which the aggressors believe is nothing more than a joke. Markets will fluctuate , and then it will be all forgotten. It will be all over red rover , and the World will continue to revolve as it always has. Remember that bustling financial hub called Hong Kong. ?

Mean while over at Santos, they are making money hand over fist. Eventually some of it will be returned to share holders in the form of Buy Backs , Dividends , Special Dividends and Share Price rises , and so it goes.

It will happen for sure, when ? any ones guess, if your in on the day of the announcements you win , if your out on the day of the announcements you loose. The ASX is not an easy place to make a profit, although in the long term fundamentally sound companies will always cross the line in front. STO is one of these companies.
