It might not be a popular move, however, a "Stochastic - sell signal" scan might be useful as well. (simply use the reverse parameters of the buy signals)
Personally, I'm not convinced that the market is going to make big moves any time soon, so ranging the downside might become profitable also.
Afterall, they climb stairs and use the lifts to go down right?
