you dont have to taste a lemon to know its a lemon in fact its probably better you don't as you end up with a bitter after taste ...... usually if it grows on the tree you found the last lemon and it looks like a lemon and it smells like a lemon then it will more than likely be a lemon .... and this tree produces an abundance of lemons so you may be looking for a peach but you wont find it here , this is a very reputable lemon tree.... lets just hope you have a significant stack of coronas.....
