they can't be gobbled up, they don't own the company that holds the resource. they only own 61%. they can't sell, take on a jv partner or change the capital structure in any way.
they have done such a bad job with the Greenland government, i.e., they have alienated everyone.
they have several legal actions against them that won't go away until they are adjudicated and they will likely go against ggg. so not only is there ownership limited they are looking at very significant damages as a result of management's actions. they also can't raise the money necessary to stay alive or to even finance a newly required study that will hang them up for years. forget what is necessary to get to feasability, or the additional billion to get to production.
bottom line is, no competant due diligence lawyer will ever sign off on any sort of deal given the mess this company is and have made of this project.

and most important even the horrble md, mr. mcilree, has said a number of times: the project is not economic without uranium and they have no rights at all to the uranium. it is specifically excluded from their license.

this whole company and project will eventually crash and burn, there is nothing good happening, it is amazing how far the hype is from reality 180 degress actually. and the stock manipulation is soooooo obvious, it should be embarrassing for the asx and asic. oversight is perfectly ordinary.

so no it won't be gobbled up.
