I can remember Max Walsh warning about the effect of foreigners repatriating US dollars in an uncontrollable manner, back in the 1980's in if my memory serves me.
In my view the US dollar will not fall very far before US industries will see an export boom that will quickly result in foreigner's buying US shares and hence restore an equilibrium.
That view in no way repudiates the possibility of a major correction at some time for non forseeable reasons.
