According to reports, exchanges around th world, ie Russia, Iceland, Indonesia, Thailand, and Austria currently remain shut.
Hard to say whether they will plunge when they re-open. I guess it depends when they allow them to resume trading again.
I wonder if the ASX will consider this option should the US market continue to crash tonight.
