wouldn't they just run them at 9-12 months and test regularly to have a set standard of efficiency over time, do the same again in the demo plant for the on site standard.
then just run some sort of algorithm over their contract price to find the exact time frame of when to change the beads for best recovery vs profit ??
you wouldn't need to change them again at 6 months and test it as it would just be the same results as the beginning of the 9 month test
