Ellendale Resources NL (ELL) is primarily involved in nickel, copper, PGM and diamonds exploration in Western Australia (WA). Company’s current focus is on the Currans Well project.

Currans Well project:
The project is located in the East Murchison Mineral Field, 500km N-E of Perth in WA and is prospective for nickel, copper and platinum group metals (PGM). Previous exploration identified significant Ni, Cu and PGM mineralisation in surface gossans, soil geochemistry, RAB, RC and diamond core drilling. Additional exploration has included detailed magnetics, ground electromagnetics and limited down hole geophysics. Drilling in 2005 returned 7m @ 0.97% Ni, 1.44g/t PGE and 0.49% Cu, including 3m @ 1.42% Ni, 1.82g/t PGE and 0.56% Cu.

Nullagine project:
This project incorporates the Palaeo-alluvial deposit known as the Jeppe Conglomerate, which forms the local feature known as Banana Hill, and has historically been identified as a source of secondary diamonds. The primary source remains to be identified.

Gibb project:
The project is located on the Gardner Plateau in the central Kimberley of West Australia. The area is characterized by drainages yielding diamond indicators including diamonds. To date no kimberlites have been found.

King river:
The tenement covers the headwaters of the King River at Halls Creek, in the Kimberly Region of Western Australia. Previous exploration identified angular and fresh chromites, almandine garnets and fresh ilmenite. Source of diamond remains to be discovered.

Texas Downs:
The tenement is located in the East Kimberley, WA and covers an area of anomalous microchromites recovered from previous exploration by Ellendale. The 2004 field season has identified an unusual dyke-like structure upstream of anomalous mineral indicator recoveries.

Nookanbah project:
The tenements cover ground prospective for diamond bearing lamproites in the Nookanbah Lamproite field, 80km south the Ellendale diamond field. A number of diamonds have previously been recovered from these tenements.
