Hi all,
I am currently trading Newmont Mining (NEM) and was puzzled by the trading this afternoon. All was fine, the stock was trading at 11 cents up ($5.70) for the day, then someone/thing decided to put in some trades at $5.68, $5.66 and then $5.61 and the trades only held between 5 and 200 shares.
My question is, Why would someone put in trades on a low volume stock 2 cents down with only 5 shares?
Would this not be manipulation of a stock?
