    Thanks Tim,

    Understand the point you are making regarding the employee share options. I was not specific enough in my hypothesis. I was thinking that BB purchased the holding at market prices (i.e. they were not employee share / options). In that context, if he waited until the 2009-2010 fin year to sell, then the tax would not need to be paid on these profits until 4/2011.

    However, if BB received his shares by way of employee options then I agree with tax treatment that you have presented.

    I guess Tim the key question is by what means did he procure his EXT share holding? Hope this helps explain the context around my comment.
