Stupidest thing that I have ever heard in my life.

A stock market is a necessity for any healthy modern economy.

Think about why there is a stock market in the first place. Think about how companies list in the first place, how they list and why they list.

Think about the advantages instruments such as options provide a company. Think about why companies conduct rights issues.

Not every entrepreneur can just go to a bank and borrow funds, they need a stock market gain the funds to develop their ideas.

Now without any of this think about the ramifications on the economy.

A stock market provides liquidity to investors. Without this liquidity many would not invest and businesses looking to raise capital would suffer dramatically.
