Mate, I do not want to clog up the thread but you started it up. I gave you two examples to let you know that your conclusion on a stock price will go down after it is consolidated was not always correct. But you said my examples do not satisfy or meet your condition(s) or criteria.
I give you another one counter example here but hope will not make you unhappy: First date HAS was traded post its consolidation (20 to 1) is 23 June 2022。Its close price for that date is AUD$3.475. The following (24 Jun 2022), Its close price is AUD$3.55 which is higher than previous date. Then the next consecutive 50 days, HAS's close prices were all above AUD$3.475! If one sold HAS on the first date trading in the post consolidation, he or she will have no chance to buy it back at lower price the following day or afterwards.Of cause you can say you can buy it back now as it is now at 32 cents!
