What I personally find a bit worrying is that the link through to TEPCO press releases shows a number of releases since yesterday 10am that cite "no new information, everything under control" when there have been explosions and fires since.
They are probably just too busy keeping the reactors under control, but to keep issuing "all's well" notices throughout seems a bit disingenous, bordering on misleading. Apparently Japan's PM is getting a bit short with TEPCO as well over conflicting information and slow reporting of important issues.
I'd strongly recommend anyone buying or selling today to keep a very close eye on the news on a reputable site. As we saw yesterday any unexpected news from the nuclear reactors could very well sway the market up or down with some force.
