I personally wouldn't look at this stock as a long term investment - too many head winds for oil companies and massive move towards renewables will only make BPT as another form of day trade for big institutions IMHO. I would much rather get in and out and not to have long term sit and wait approach as I honestly cant see $1.97 on the horizon anytime soon at least not this year.
Beyond this year you might want to look at what happens in ME and if OPEC is going to ease supply or reduce output. For now I would watch what happens in Iran post election.
I personally wouldn't look at this stock as a long term...
