I think the key to where the share price goes from here is how much CAPEX spend will be required over the next 3 years to maintain/increase reserves.
I actually think their forward earnings guidance next Monday might beat market expectations (as current expectations are pretty low) but it depends on how much CAPEX will be required to achieve this.
I also think environmental issues may have to be considered too as this is becoming an issue for all O&G companies.
I can't see the dividend increasing as they will need every spare dollar to develop assets.
The key on Monday will be the next three years CAPEX forecast.
Evolution mining (be it a gold stock) had a similar problem in that it was very profitable for several years but reserves run down and they had to announce a large 3 year CAPEX spend to rectify the problem.
That sent their share price down 18% even though the forward earning guidance was still ok.
I am not saying that will happen with BPT on Monday but its something to watch out for if the CAPEX outlook is high.
I will decide on Monday if I am going to buy back in or not.
