My thoughts are there is unlikely to be work directly on this program, but the good news is that any purchases from Boeing by the Australian Govt will add to the offset pile Boeing needs to spend in Australia. They have their own facility in Melbourne that makes the winglets for 737 as well as some military parts, but every time Qantas buys a Boeing, $150m is spent and Scomo will want some offset.

The JSF program came from the $400m investment in JSF by Howard. There has been a lot of talk about a new program of work supposed to come by 30th June reported by QHL, obviously COVID will have slowed that, but the military US guys have probably been working on pretty much as before so may not be that far away if it's military, probably further out if its commercial aero.
