Yet again you look at one thing. No Lynas did not follow MP up it was down.

You still don't get it do you. Though many talk about short Squeezes they do not exist. Lets say SS loans a share to a shorter. SS gain in loaning shares is the very high fees and almost zero risk of loaning. They keep un-loaned shares as low as possible because these dilute the earnings and increase risk. So a shorter buys to cover which would raise the price. EXCEPT SS will sell as fast as computer can do it keeping inventory low. So if you look at half the picture it is -1 share. If you take time to look at complete picture it is -1 + 1 = 0 which has little effect Also look at 3 month chart on Shortman It shows exactly how little change there has been in Lynas's shorts recently.

If you are going to comment please learn a little about the How markets work. IF there is no volume and "ask" goes up the chart shows that price. The markets always show the price that you can obtain shares at. So in the last 15 minutes price went up 2 cents but with no volume. How does this happen?
Simply several sellers withdrew their lower offers This happens at end of day especially on Fridays. Now yesterday the price went up at close with a third of the days volume. This is simple off market trades during the day meeting the law to post trades by market close. These are called Dark or Black pool trades because they cannot be seen as they happen. They are Pree arranged broker to broker trades for large customers with large number of shares to move.

It amazes me how many on this board do not understand the rules of the exchange. It is not needed to do trading so you are not at risk on your trades. If you are going to comment on small quick (less than a day) moves you really do need to know how the market works.
