There is no LYC SP driver more direct or important than Nd pricing. In 2022 the Nd pricing hit a spike and drove the short interest to its lowest level.
The question is what is driving current shorters? Are they being rational? Because quite obviously they do not have the support of dropping REE prices at this juncture, nor does anyone out there think Nd Prices are likely to drop further.
Their CEO is amongst the best in the business and the deposit is as well; not to mention the recent awesome drilling and resource update. HUGE.

Amanda's ability to adjust to and weather the extremely tough monopoly-supporting Chinese Communist competition is amazing; she has seen them through CCP's honey trap price-fixing, misinformation campaigns one after another, multi-year political pressure incl existential threats, publicized public reproach w/ whipped up hysteria based on BS, not to mention the current tactic of oversupplying the market at will.
The CHinese simply want it all when it comes to REE and the downstream high tech product line (literally everything that moves!). They have most.

Bottom Line: The endlessly uncivil ausheds and his sycophants incl EddieB should all be put in a dunce cap with much opprobrium for claiming the CCP wants to help balance anything when the only evidence they are willing to provide is a minor tweak in the CCPs REE mining quotas. Which increased again after increasing for each and every year in memory.
