Which company produces mixed REE oxides in concentration? Which company is already Roasting input to C&L producing higher quality product at lower cost? Which company is already selling REE metals in limited Quantities. Which company is reprocessing most of their water and chemicals substantially reducing cost and environmental impact. Yes Lynas talks about it a lot but what have they actually done? MP Should have high end Magnets within the year.
I will admit that Lynas is ahead of MP in some areas. I am sure you will list them. Your statement "with zero intellectual property a" Shows a lack of understanding about the competition. People that underestimate the competition seldom do well. I do not own MP or Lynas. Their approach to good profitability is quite different. Lynas wants to grow by improving with more vertical expansion. Higher volume of what they already make. MP is not looking to increase by expanding vertically They plan to grow with horizontal growth. Quickly moving into Metals and high-end magnets. Time will tell who is correct. IF you measure MP using What Lynas is doing as a ruler you will never understand. MP is successfully moving into Metals and magnets and comes close to there Schedels and costs while doing it. Read the 2019 Lynas plan for 2025 and Tellme how Lynas is doing.
For example MP announced The Metals and magnets plant in Texas on Dec 9 2021 and produced their first metals within a year of what was promised Lunas announced heavy rare earths in May 2019 and said they would be making them in Late 2022 Early 2023 (see may 2019 presentation) Hopefully the plant will BE permitted to start construction this Q.
Lynas said they were at NEXT production rates for a month in 2018. in the 2019 presentation they said they would show Steady state NEXT rates in 2019.
