It's a free realtime quote service once you've registered. You can't check market depth on the site unfortunately but I use it as a starting point. It does give buyer and seller numbers at market price though.

Very few free sites remain. Investorweb is the paysite I use and it offers research, charts, daily updates, sector analyses for a reasonable fee ($399 / annum for a Diamond level membership). This includes 500 free live content points per month (quotes or market depth) or 5 LCPs per quote. I've agitated for unlimited free quotes for diamond members but unsuccessfully to date. If you have 20 stocks on your designated watchlist though, you can get a lot of mileage out of your 500 points. The best thing is the truly independent advice without fear or favour and some very useful TA from Cath Davey, their resident chartist.
