I doubt Malaysians that wealthy would manipulate the market to recover losses.

I believe they are leaking some news to their mates, so they jump on the market and get on a buying spree. When they drop out, local come in and take profits as 0.8 c was a very low entry price for the stock, which is now worth 60% more on no news.
